PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition containing a polylactic acid and having excellent mechanical properties and melt processability. SOLUTION: The resin composition contains (A) 99-1 pts.wt. polylactic acid, (B) 1-99 pts.wt. resin selected from thermoplastic resins [with the proviso that the total weight of the polylactic acid (A) and the thermoplastic resin (B) is 100 pts.wt.], and (C) 0.1-20 pts.wt. block copolymer obtained by binding (c-1) a polylactic acid segment with (c-2) a specified aliphatic polyester segment.
