PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and equipment for screen printing which enable sure formation of a printed figure having characteristics to be targets regarding a thickness, an area, a volume and others. SOLUTION: On the occasion of screen-printing a printing paste (electroconductive paste) 2 on a printing object sheet (ceramic green sheet) 1, a target value is set as to a parameter of at least one of the area, the thickness and the volume of the electroconductive paste (printed figure) 2a after printing is conducted, and the paste 2 is preliminarily printed on the ceramic green sheet 1 under at least two kinds of temperature conditions. As to the printed paste (printed figure) 2a, the parameter (thickness) for which the target value is set is measured, and a measured value and the target value as to the parameter are compared. The temperature condition under which the parameter is closest to the target value is selected and, while the temperature is controlled to meet the temperature condition, the electroconductive paste 2 on a screen printing plate 4 is printed on the ceramic green sheet 1.
