PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment apparatus which has few significant restriction regarding the installation place of a treatment apparatus body and can realize convenient treatment apparatus body and kitchen. SOLUTION: This water treatment apparatus comprises a switching unit 3, annexed to a water faucet 1 for supplying raw water, for switching a water passage for raw water and a treatment apparatus body 2, which is installed distant from the switching unit 3, for conducting water treatment of raw water supplied by switching of the water passage by the switching unit 3. The switching unit 3 comprises an operating part 6 for wirelessly operating the treatment apparatus body 2 and a transmitting part 7 for sending radio signals through the operating part 6 toward a reflecting part 8 located above the switching unit 3 and the treatment apparatus body 2.
