PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mosquito-attracting trap easy to enter but hard to escape for mosquitos, in the form of a mosquito-attracting hut made by processing material straw stained with animal excrement, on the assumption that such straw needs to be supplied periodically from livestock barns. SOLUTION: The mosquito-attracting trap is provided in such a way that, since mosquito individuals subjected to most advanced gene recombination are poor in reproductive behavior compared to wild individuals, their trapping is ineffective relative to effort; therefore a means of capturing male mosquitoes using an adhesive sheet, although being highly primitive, is adopted; however, as a mosquito-attracting method is especially designed, an atmosphere is created with organic odor likely to attract mosquitoes by a practical and inexpensive method.
