METHOD FOR PREPARING TONER AND TONER PREPARED BY USING THE METHOD

A method for preparing a toner is provided to form a core/shell structured toner comprising a core having excellent low-temperature fixing and imaging characteristics and a shell having excellent integrity and anti-static property, and to provide a high-speed and high-quality imaging device. The method for preparing a toner comprises the steps of: mixing a polyester resin, a colorant, a macromonomer having a hydrophilic group, hydrophobic group and at least one reactive functional group, and a non-ionic reactive emulsifier so as to form a core; and adding at least one polymerizable monomer and an initiator onto the outer surface of the core and performing polymerization thereof while allowing the macromonomer and the non-ionic reactive emulsifier to participate in the polymerization.
