<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an optical module capable of precisely adjusting the position of an optical element in an optical axis direction. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of an optical module 100 equipped with an optical element comprises a process (a) for preparing a base 12 and a case 10 having a frame 14 provided on the base, a process (b) for forming a spacer 22 on the base of the case, a process (c) for carrying out plastic deformation by pressing the spacer, a process (d) for joining the optical element 30 and the spacer, a process (e) for arranging a lid member 40 composed of a transparent substrate on the case 10, and a process (f) for forming a connector 50 with a lens at the circumference of the case 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
