<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption of a drive circuit for piezoelectric elements. <P>SOLUTION: The drive circuit for piezoelectric elements includes: a transistor that amplifies a reference signal inputted to a control terminal to generate a driving signal for operating multiple piezoelectric elements, and outputs it from an output terminal; an LC resonance circuit in which a capacitor whose capacitance is varied and an inductance are connected in series; an auxiliary driving signal generation circuit that generates an auxiliary driving signal by resonance of this LC resonance circuit, and supplies this auxiliary driving signal to the current supply terminal of the transistor for amplifying the reference signal; and a controller that varies the capacitance of the capacitor according to the number of piezoelectric elements to be operated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
