PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively manufacture a seamless belt having high elastic modulus and extremely good thickness precision and to provide an excellent intermediate transfer body which improves the percent defective between the changeover lots of a resin solution, used in a tandem type intermediate transfer type image forming apparatus, has high elastic modulus and extremely good thickness precision, eliminates the resistance difference between the minute sections on the surface of the belt and causing no image irregularity in a speedup state. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of the seamless belt is constituted by coating the columnar shape inner surface of a mold 30 with a resin solution being the raw material of the seamless belt in a seamless state and the coating layer is dried and cured to be formed into a film state, and includes a process for extruding the resin solution into a hollow cylindrical shape and an is injected in the hollow part of the extruded cylindrical resin solution to expand the cylindrical resin solution to coat the columnar inner surface of the mold 30.
