PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver capable of reducing power consumption, while suppressing electromagnetic radiation noise and reducing the local oscillation signal that sneaked into received frequency signal. SOLUTION: When the number of segments of a received signal is 13, a local oscillator 17 changes the local oscillation frequency of the local oscillation signal so as to bring the center frequency of an intermediate frequency signal to 4 MHz, and a variable attenuator 18 for local oscillation level control sets attenuation of the local oscillation signal to 0 so as to maximize the local oscillation level of the local oscillation signal; and when the number of segments of the received signal is 1, the local oscillator 17 changes the local oscillation frequency of the local oscillation signal so as to bring the center frequency of the intermediate frequency signal to 0.5 MHz, and the variable attenuator 18 for local oscillation level control maximizes the attenuation of the local oscillation signal so as to reduce the local oscillation level of the local oscillation signal.
