PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chromakey device capable of generating a proper key signal at high speed even when a background has complicated colors. SOLUTION: The chromakey device 1 includes: a key value searching table generating means 10 for generating a key value searching table LUT wherein key values K each for separating a foreground image FI into a composite object image OI and a deleted region RA are stored by using each pixel values C of pixels PX of the foreground image FI for an argument; and a key value determining means 14 that searches the key value searching table LUT by using a concerned pixel value C of a concerned pixel PX of the foreground image FI for the argument and determines the key value K corresponding to the pixel PX.
