PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stopper structure and its assembling method, capable of accurately positioning a stopper means constituted of a fitting member and a fitted member and improving productivity by simplifying procedure for assembling the stopper means. SOLUTION: When the fitting member 10 and the fitted member 20 are assembled to the open/close body 3 and a vehicle body 2, displacement between the fitting member 10 and the fitted member 20 occurs. A restricting member 24 for restricting the displacement between the fitting member 10 and the fitted member 20 is disposed to either the fitting member 10 or the fitted member 20, and the restricting member 24 can be separated from the member 20 out of the members.
