PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin molding method capable of selectively heating a thermoplastic resin in a cavity with respect to a mold made of a rubber to obtain a good resin molded product, and a resin molding apparatus for use in the method. SOLUTION: In the resin molding method and the resin molding apparatus 1, the cavity 21 of the mold 2 made of the rubber is filled with the thermoplastic resin 3 and this thermoplastic resin 3 is cooled to obtain the resin molded product. When the cavity 21 is filled with the thermoplastic resin 3, the thermoplastic resin 3 is irradiated with an electromagnetic wave with a peak wavelength of 0.4-2μm from the surface of the mold 2 using an electromagnetic wave irradiation device 4 to selectively heat the thermoplastic resin 3 with respect to the mold 2.
