PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal like soft polymer molded body which realizes an excellent metal like feeling on a soft polymer molded body and can hold the original metal like feeling without losing gloss even in a case that a topcoating layer is provided. SOLUTION: In the metal like soft polymer molded body 10 constituted by providing a metal thin film layer 13 to the soft polymer molded body 11, the metal thin film layer 13 has a flat surface structure on which a large number of island parts, which comprise vapor deposition metal particles with the maximum length of 5μm or below in the longitudinal direction thereof, are discontinuously and densely provided and the thickness thereof is set to 20-100 nm.
