PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal separator in which a continuous rotor and a normal rotor are usable without deteriorating a cooling capacity. SOLUTION: The centrifugal separator 30 has a constitution that the continuous rotor and normal rotor are usable without deteriorating the cooling capacity. In the case of using the normal rotor 2, an adapter 13 is buried in a concave portion 4b for installing a tube, provided on a part of a projecting outer periphery (projection) 4a in a door 4 of the centrifuge separator 30, which reduces a windage loss.
