PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize (save a space of) the whole of a limit switch device 10 by compactly arranging a limit switch 16u for moving up and a limit switch 16d for moving down in the limit switch device 10 used attached to a curtain electrically raising-and-lowering device 1. SOLUTION: Regarding an operation piece 15u of the limit switch 16u for moving up and an operation piece 15d of the limit switch 16d for moving down, the operation piece 15d is arranged overlapped over the operation piece 15u, and a distal end part 22u and a distal end part 22d are arranged side by side. Moreover, a rotary shaft 21u of the operation piece 15u and a rotary shaft 21d of the operation piece 15d are provided in a direction (direction Z) orthogonal to the extension length direction of the curtain raising-and-lowering device 1.
