PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser measuring method and system capable of keeping unchanged a relative positional relation between an optical axis of a measuring laser beam and a laser beam detecting means all the time, when measuring a temperature and a concentration of combustion gas or the like by a laser absorption method. SOLUTION: The measuring laser beam 3 is emitted, a pulse laser beam 10 is emitted during detecting the measuring laser beam 3 reflected by a half-mirror 17 by a laser beam detector 16 to execute prescribed processing, a relative position between the optical axis and a position detecting sensor 21 is regulated to bring a relative positional relation between the both into a prescribed positional relation, based on an output signal (positional information of the optical axis of the pulse laser beam) from the position detecting sensor 21, and an angle of a reflecting face in the half-mirror 17 is regulated under this condition to make constant a relative positional relation between he optical axis and the laser beam detector 16, based on an output signal (positional information of the optical axis of the pulse laser beam reflected by the half-mirror 17) from a position detecting sensor 26.
