PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner which is satisfactory in fluidity in spite of containing a low melting point wax, hardly gives rise to adhesion and deposition within a manufacturing apparatus, reduces oozing of the wax to particle surfaces at spheriodization by heat treatment, and is satisfactory in storage property, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing toner containing a binder resin, silica and wax as the components of toner particles is characterized in that the melting point of the wax is 70 to 130°C, and the average diameter of the equivalent circle of silica aggregates of≥0.05μm in the diameter of the equivalent circle is 0.1 to 0.7μm. The method for manufacturing the electrostatic charge image developing toner comprising melt kneading the binder resin, the colorant and the wax and powdering the mixture by pulverizing after cooling is characterized in that 0.5 to 8 wt.% wax of 70 to 130°C in the melting point and 0.25 to 8 wt.% silica of 90 to 400 m<SP>2</SP>/g in BET specific surface area are incorporated into the toner and the weight ratio of the wax silica is specified to 0.5 to 2.0.
