PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and simple deodorant product effectively utilizing waste liquid, which is unnecessary and have to be neutralized in the past, as the deodorant product and exhibiting a safe and strong environment deodorizing function against alkaline odor. SOLUTION: The deodorant product with a function of absorbing and deodorizing alkaline odor gas such as an amine compound is made of a strong acid water-including substance with the strong acid water impregnated in a water-absorbent substance. The strong acid water has sulfate ions whose number of moles occupies at least 80% of the total number of moles of the included anions; pH of the strong acid water is not more than 1.4 and the oxidation-reduction potential is not more than 650 mV. The strong acid water is manufactured in deodorizing the odor including a sulfur compound by a biological deodorizer using microbes. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
