A refrigerator is provided to prevent a possible damage of parts in a compressor when a large amount of fluid refrigerant is injected into the compressor and compresses the fluid refrigerant. A refrigerator includes a compressor, a condenser, an expander, a secondary evaporator, a main evaporator, an accumulator(30), a secondary refrigerant pipe(17a), a main refrigerant pipe(17b), and a connecting unit(20). The accumulator is formed between the evaporator and the compressor. The secondary refrigerant pipe is elongated from the secondary evaporator and is connected to a bottom of the accumulator horizontally. The main refrigerant pipe is elongated from the main evaporator and is connected to the bottom of the accumulator vertically. The connecting unit is connected the secondary refrigerant pipe and the main refrigerant pipe to the bottom of the accumulator. |
