A mobile communication terminal and a controlling method in case of an unlocked state by hacking are provided to check whether the unlocked state is created in an IC(Integrated Circuit) card, and to reset a locking function, thereby recovering the terminal to a state before being hacked. A card module(240) stores intrinsic information indicative of a particular card and subscriber information for accessing a base station only of a particular communication provider. A memory unit(230) stores terminal information and lock information with which a particular card only is usable. When the particular card is inserted according to the lock information, a lock setup unit(260) reads the intrinsic information to lock the card so that an equivalent terminal(100) only is usable. An unlocking sensor(250) senses whether an unlocking process is performed. A wireless circuit unit(270) transmits the lock information and the terminal information. The lock setup unit(260) locks the terminal(100) by receiving lock reset information. |
