An electrically operated valve for controlling the fuel supply circuit of an I.c. engine, is connected in an energizing circuit 16 associated with a parallel circuit 13,21 which is connected to the circuit supplying the winding or relay of a starter motor 22 and provided with a switch 15, the current being so directed that, when the switch 15 is in the closed position, the valve 1 is set in the position closing the fuel supply when the current stream passes through the starter motor, provision being made of means for returning the valve 1 to the open position thereof, when the electric line supplying the latter has been broken. <IMAGE> |
