ROAD SECTION LINE DETECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road section line detector which detects a section line on a road with high accuracy.

SOLUTION: The road section line detector 1 which detects a predetermined section line on the road based on a photographed image photographed by a photographing means 3 has: a structural element setting means 5a for setting a structural element B in morphology based on the shape of the predetermined section line; an Opening processing means 5b for performing reduction processing to the photographed image photographed by the photographing means 3 to generate a reduced image based on the structural element B set by the structural element setting means 5a and performing expansion processing to the generated reduced image to generate an opening image and a top hat transformation processing means 5c for generating a differential image by subtracting the opening image 5b generated by the opening processing means 5b from the photographed image photographed by the photographing means 3.
