<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper motor that can be switched in rotational speed even if the motor is multi-polarized. <P>SOLUTION: Four magnets 22 are installed on the internal face of a motor yoke of the wiper motor 18, sixteen slots 27a to 27p are formed at an armature core 27, and a winding 28 is installed to these slots 27a to 27p by being wound around them. A commutator 31 having sixteen commutator pieces 31a to 31p are fixed to an armature shaft, the winding 28 is connected to these commutator pieces 31a to 31p, and the commutator pieces that should be in the same potential are electrically connected to one another by connection wires 41a to 41h. A common brush 32 and a low-speed operation brush 33 that slidably contact with the commutator 31 are displaced from each other at an angle of 90 degrees in a rotative direction, and a high-speed operation brush 36 that slidably contacts with the commutator 31 is arranged so as to be displaced in the rotative direction with respect to the low-speed operation brush 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
