<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas booster of fuel cells where no gas is leaked to the outside. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell comprises a raw material supply path for supplying prescribed gas; a pressure detection means for detecting the pressure of the gas; a flow rate detection means for detecting the flow rate of the gas; a temperature detection means for detecting the temperature of the gas; a control means for controlling the flow rate of the gas supplied from the raw material supply path, based on the pressure detected by the pressure detection means, the flow rate detected by the flow rate detection means, and the temperature detected by the temperature detection means; a boosting means for boosting the gas; and a fuel generation means for reforming the gas boosted by the boosting means into fuel.
