<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar belt press molding resin-bonded magnet which can continuously and stably mold a compound for a resin-bonded magnet in which a material for a permanent magnet and a thermosetting resin are mixed, and has excellent magnetic characteristics and surface smoothness without causing deterioration in the magnetic characteristics due to heat applied in molding, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing the planar belt press molding resin-bonded magnet, the compound for the resin-bonded magnet which contains a magnetic powder and a thermosetting resin is molded by a belt press machine provided with a combination of upper and lower steel belts, a pressing roll, a heating means and a cooling means. The method is characterized in that the compound for the resin-bonded magnet is transferred by pressing onto the steel belts, the compound to be transferred is heated in a gap between the steel belts while being pressed and molded under the pressing roll, and after that, the compound is held on the steel belts for a time enough to thermally cure the molten compound, and finally, an obtained molding is taken out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
