<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric base with crisp and clear sound like a double bass for orchestra. <P>SOLUTION: Since a piano string is too good in vibration when used as a string to create crisp and clear low sound, a thin metal plate of a long rectangle with poor vibration is considered to be an optimum vibration source. A mechanism for hitting a vibration plate on the edge is made as a keyboard type, and a key is pressed as in playing the piano or the electronic organ. As for a system for converting vibration of the vibration plate to an electric signal, the converting system to the electric signal is utilized as in an electric guitar or an electric base, in which many narrow coil lines are coiled around a permanent magnet and the vibration plate is vibrated near a magnetic pole. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
