<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a label to be applied to an article while separating an RFID tag from the article, to enable effects from the article to be suppressed as much as possible, and to enable the stable reading/writing of data to be ensured. <P>SOLUTION: A folding section M is formed by folding a part 2 consisting of an IC chip Ta and a communication antenna Tb, to which the RFID tag T is attached from the rear surface side to the front surface side into a mountain form. At the same time, this label pasting device is equipped with a folding-pasting means 20 which pastes this label L to the article W. The folding-applying means 20 is equipped with a suction plate 21, a base 25, and a driving section 30. In this case, the suction plate 21 consists of one side body 22 which sucks one side section 3a of the label L and the other side body 23 which sucks the other side section 4a of the label L. The base 25 fixes the one side body 22 and the other side body 23.
