<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily clean, maintain or inspect a draining part of a bathtub without being interfered with a heat insulating material in the bathtub having the heat insulating material on the outer surface for securing the heat insulating properties. <P>SOLUTION: The heat insulating material 3 is disposed on the outer surface of the bathtub 2 with a drain 1 at an end of a bottom part. A part of the heat insulating material 3 disposed at a part corresponding to the drain 1 on the outer surface of the bathtub is a detachable heat insulating material 3a.
