PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce display unevenness like a vertical band, which is caused by wiring resistances and electric capacities among a plurality of image signal lines, in an electro-optical device like a liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: In the electro-optical device, a plurality of pixel parts, a plurality of scan lines 11a and a plurality of data lines 6a wired in pixel areas wherein the plurality of pixel parts are arranged, and N image signal lines 170 which include parts wired along one side of the pixel area and to which serial-parallel converted image signals of N systems are supplied are provided on a substrate. A data line driving circuit 101 which is disposed on one side and supplies image signals to the plurality of pixel parts through data lines per data line and N image signal terminals 102v1 to 102v6 which are electrically connected to N image signal lines respectively and to which image signals are input from an external circuit are provided on the side opposite to the pixel area with respect to N image signal lines.
