<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular door closer device which can reduce the generation of an unusual sound when driven. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular door closer device is formed of a ring gear 55 having an engaging claw 58, and a cancel gear 69 having a gear-side engaging claw 69b. The ring gear 55 is non-rotatably locked when the engaging claw and the gear-side engaging claw is engaged with each other, but made rotatable when engagement between the engaging claw and the gear-side engaging claw is released. When rotational power outputted from a carrier is transmitted to a latch mechanism, the latch mechanism is activated so that a vehicular door is driven for closing operation from a half-closed door state to a totally closed door state. On the other hand when an operating force is transmitted to the cancel gear, the engagement between the engaging claw and the gear-side engaging claw is released. The engaging claw and the gear-side engaging claw are formed like saw teeth so as to be smoothly in mesh with each other in the rotational direction of the ring gear 55. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
