PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of mounting a sensor of an ultrasonic flowmeter that prevents an abnormal reflected wave from acting as a disturbance factor and can improve the measurement accuracy and measurement efficiency. SOLUTION: A cylindrical sound absorbing ring 41 is arranged so as to surround the periphery of a front end section 23e including an vibration surface 23c of a transmitting/receiving vibrator 23b. The sound absorbing ring 41 prevents the ultrasonic wave that is transmitted from the vibration surface 23c of the transmitting/receiving vibrator 23b and reflected by a stagnation section 22c of a storage hole 22b from being received again as the disturbance factor by the vibration surface 23c.
