PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow rate correction method for fuel gas capable of inexpensively carrying out flow rate correction of fuel gas based upon water vapor contents in the fuel gas, in consideration of particular fuel gas such as gas generated in a steel mill and used in the steel mill. SOLUTION: The fuel gas is cooled to a predetermined temperature lower than a dew point of the fuel gas until the fuel gas containing water vapor is guided to a combustion furnace, and when adjusting the flow rate of the fuel gas in the combustion chamber, the flow rate of the fuel gas is corrected on the basis of a saturated water vapor pressure at the predetermined temperature.
