PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and compact rolling bearing having durability, a higher load capacity and improved heat radiating property. SOLUTION: The rolling bearing comprises an annularly continuous rotary ring 20, an arcuate supporting part 22 arranged opposite to the rotary ring for supporting part of the rotary ring, a plurality of rolling elements 24 incorporated to roll between a rotating raceway surface 20s of the rotary ring and a supporting raceway surface 22s of the supporting part, and a cage 26 for revolving on the outer periphery of the rotary ring in the state of rotatably holding the plurality of rolling elements one by one. The supporting part is formed to arcuately cover part of the rotary ring. Herein, a relationship of h≤1/2×(PCD+Da) is set, where h is a distance between a center point M between both end points A, B of the outer diameter and a center point C of a virtual circle E joining both end points along the supporting part, PCD is the pitch circle diameter of the rolling element, and Da is the diameter of the rolling element. The rolling element rolling between the rotating raceway surface and the supporting raceway surface revolves together with the cage while contacting the rotating raceway surface and rolls between the raceway surfaces again.
