PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure welding joint having demountable and simple construction with a less number of components for coping with a shortage of fastening or the warping of a base, and to provide a mounting unit for water line pipe equipment such as a water meter using the same. SOLUTION: The mounting unit comprises a joint body having a female screw threaded to the secondary side of an internal through-hole and a cylindrical inner sleeve provided concentrically therewith, a hollow spindle part into which the inner sleeve is inserted with water tightness and which is threaded to the female screw in a forward/backward movable manner, and a press-fit part mounted on the secondary side of the spindle part for connectably press-fitting a connection port of the water line pipe equipment such as the water meter with water tightness. A recessed portion is formed in the secondary-side end of the spindle part, an O-ring is mounted on the outer periphery of the press-fit part, and an O-ring mounting portion of the press-fit part is fitted into the recessed portion. The pressure welding joint is fixed to the primary side of the base, and another joint is provided at a secondary-side coaxial position corresponding thereto. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
