PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for converting rainwater into electric power for solving the problem of reducing the quantity of fossil fuel used for preventing global warming. SOLUTION: The rainwater collected from a roof of the large area is concentrated in one concentrated a vertical door sluice pipe, and a generator available on the market is connected to an end part of a rotary shaft of a propeller by rotating the propeller of a horizontal rotary device, and the electric power is produced by volume capacity of the connected generator. Since the rainwater is irregular in a rainfall quantity, the rainwater is stored in an aboveground water storage tank installed in advance on the ground in a large quantity of rainfall, and the horizontal rotary device can be operated over a long time by adjusting and discharging a drain quantity from the aboveground water storage tank, and can be developed into leveling operation of a power generation duration by operation of the horizontal rotary device.
