PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a gear-shaped diamond dresser having higher accuracy and higher performance. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of the gear-shaped diamond dresser includes: a process of machining the reversed mold inner peripheral surface into an internal gear shape; a process of making diamond particles adhere to the inner peripheral surface of the reversed mold, and burying the diamond particles by a binder to form a diamond layer; a process of bonding the diamond layer and a core bar by a bonding layer; and a process of removing the reversed mold, wherein the inner peripheral surface of the reversed mold is previously machined into an internal gear shape by one or both of high-accuracy machining method and high-accuracy electrical machining method.
