<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reclining device which does not generate abnormal sound and does not lower the engaging strength of a lock gear and a gear plate even when the operation of unlocking the reclining device is performed in the state of leaning against a back seat. <P>SOLUTION: In the seat reclining device for a vehicle, for the lock gear, the radius of the pitch circle of at least one, two or more of external teeth positioned at either one of the front side and rear side end parts in the rear rotating direction of a seat back is smaller than the radius of the pitch circle of the internal teeth of the gear plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
