PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game system capable of mutually associating two games using a game apparatus simultaneously mountable to two storage media.

SOLUTION: This game apparatus 10 is simultaneously mountable to both of a first storage medium and a second storage medium. This game apparatus 10 executes a first game process using first save data (S3) and executes a second game process using second save data (S10). This game apparatus 10 rewrites the content of the first save data based on the game state of a second game (S5). This game apparatus 10 rewrites the content of the second save data based on the game state of a first game (S9).
