IMPULSE SIGNAL ACQUIRING METHOD, TRANSMITTER, AND RECEIVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an UWB communication system which gets a narrow impulse of cells in a broad impulse of cells with respect to an impulse for use in transmission and reception of transmission data.

SOLUTION: An impulse signal getting transmitter comprises a pulse generator 416 which is utilized for transmitting transmission data, and generates an impulse signal having a changed pulse width in response to a predetermined control signal with respect to an impulse signal, and a controller 412 for applying a pulse width control signal for changing the pulse width of the impulse signal to the pulse generator.
