<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for connecting a flexible printed board with simple structure and sure connection, which can align the position of an FPC easily. <P>SOLUTION: The connector for connecting the flexible printed board has a cover member composed of a base plate, a top plate, and side walls, detachably mounted on the base plate, and a pressing member arranged in a space of the cover member in free vertical movement through spring members. A through hole vertically penetrating through the base plate is formed on the base plate, and a first transparent member is fitted into the through hole. An opening corresponding to the through hole on the base plate is formed on the top plate. A through hole, penetrating through the pressing member corresponding to the through hole on the base plate and the opening on the cover member, is formed on the pressing member.
