<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scanning head and a dot irradiation element, which can increase the quantity of light emitted from an outgoing surface, without decreasing the life of the element. <P>SOLUTION: The scanning head 2 is equipped with a surface-emitting-part array panel 20 on which a plurality of surface emitting parts 22 planarly emitting the light are arranged in a line, and a plurality of light guiding parts 60 which face the surface emitting parts 22, respectively. The light guiding part 60 comprises: a first facing reflecting surface 64 which faces a plane 63 of incidence in the state of being inclined with respect to the plane 63 of incidence; a second reflecting surface 53 which is elongated on the extended plane of the plane 63 of incidence; a second facing reflecting surface 54 which is continuously provided long the reflecting surface 64, and which faces the second reflecting surface 53 in the state of being inclined with respect to the second reflecting surface 53, so that a narrow angle can be greater than a narrow angle between the plane 63 of incidence and the reflecting surface 64; and the outgoing surface 52 which faces the narrow angle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
