摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved position automatic adjustment device for automatically adjusting the position of a servo mechanism corresponding to the lining wear of a pad. <P>SOLUTION: The position automatic adjustment device 80 for automatically adjusting the position of the servo mechanism 70 corresponding to the lining wear of the pad 12 comprises an adjusting screw 81 threaded to an anchor part 15d which receives braking torque from the pad 12 during braking, so as to be movable forward/backward in the direction of a rotor shaft and connected to the servo mechanism 70 so as to be integrally movable and rotatable in the direction of the rotor shaft, and a lock coil 82 wound on the outer periphery of the adjusting screw 81 in contact therewith and fixed at one end 81a to the anchor part 15d. The lock coil 82 is loosened during the forward rotation of the adjusting screw 81 to permit the rotation of the adjusting screw 81 and fastened during the backward rotation thereof to restrict the rotation of the adjusting screw 81. Between one end 82a of the lock coil 82 and a mounting hole 15d1 of the anchor part 15d, a clearance is provided for permitting the rotation of the lock coil 82 as predetermined in the rotating direction of the adjusting screw 81. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p>
