<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and accurately remove a coating of a wire rod by using a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: Laser light L emitted from a laser oscillator 6 is splitted into first laser light L1 and second laser light L2 by a beam splitter 7, and two beams of the laser light are introduced to the external periphery of the coated wire rod 3 that is fed to a processing part 2 by a first optical system 8 having a first condenser lens 12 and a second optical system 9 having a second condenser lens 14 from both sides of the systems. A lens holder mechanism 15 is driven by a lens holder drive mechanism 16, and the first condenser lens 12 and the second condenser lens 14 are simultaneously moved in a direction orthogonal to the axial line of the coated wire rod 3, thus removing the insulating coating 5 all over the periphery. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
