PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor including a scroll unit driven by a motor, and contributing space saving while inhibiting heat generation of armature winding. SOLUTION: The scroll compressor is provided with a supply channel 120 which generates flow of working fluid in a low pressure side by supplying part of working fluid discharged from a scroll unit 60 toward a refrigeration circuit to a bottomed section in a machine chamber 92 formed in a cylindrical housing 16 provided with the bottomed section 17 and having one end part of the stator 98 of the motor 94 provided close to the bottomed section and having working fluid in a low pressure side of the refrigeration circuit 2 introduced in.
