PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an electrostatic spraying apparatus stably exert electrostatic effect by preventing occurrence of current leakage. SOLUTION: In the electrostatic spraying apparatus, a guard part 32 serving as a current leakage prevention part is equipped with a spraying nozzle part 2 with its tip having a spraying opening 2a making liquid countless drops D for spraying, an electrode 3 disposed so as to be close to the outside of the diffusion range of the drops D, and an electrode holder 4 for supporting the electrode 3 on the proximal end of the spraying nozzle part 2, wherein the electrode 3 or the holder 4 has through holes 4a, and the drops D are charged with high voltage applied between the liquid and the electrode 3. The guard part is provided on the proximal end side of the spraying nozzle part 2 in the electrode 3 and the electrode holder 4, and is formed in a roughly flange shape projecting in the radial direction of the spraying nozzle part 2. The peripheral part of the guard part is equipped with a projection plate part 39 overhanging so as not to contact to the electrode 3 and the electrode holder 4 and so as to at least reach the inside of the through hole 4a.
