PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a filling material for trapping a carbonyl compound which is simple and inexpensive, has good reproducibility, and can analyze a trace of carbonyl compound while maintaining a high recovery rate, and to provide a manufacturing method of a solid phase extraction cartridge for trapping a carbonyl compound, and a solid phase extraction cartridge for trapping a carbonyl compound. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method sequentially includes a step (1) for burning an organic carrier and a step (2) for making the burned organic carrier adsorb a hydrazine compound. The organic carrier is burned beforehand to thereby obtain the filing material for trapping the carbonyl compound, and the solid phase extraction cartridge for trapping the carbonyl compound with preservation stability.
