<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shift to a desired operation mode without obtaining a current operation mode of a printer to be controlled by a host computer, and prevent malfunction, such as dust printing caused from an output of an invalid printer control command. <P>SOLUTION: When outputting printer control commands to change operation modes for a plurality of types of printers 2A, 2B, host computers 4A, 4B dispose command head data strings recognizable as printer control commands in all the plurality of types of printers 2A, 2B at the head sections of the printer control commands, disposes operation mode changing data strings to change the operation mode after the command head data strings, and outputs the printer control commands to the printers 2A, 2B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
