<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a surface modification agent to permeate uniformly into the surface of a thermoplastic resin in a short time using only a small amount of the agent. <P>SOLUTION: The method of the surface modification of a thermoplastic resin includes a step to form a space between the objective part of a molding and the stationary mold by opening the movable mold after molding the thermoplastic resin in the cavity, a step to introduce a supercritical fluid, a subcritical fluid or a high pressure gas containing a a surface modification agent into the space, a step to contain the supercritical fluid, the subcritical fluid or the high pressure gas in the second space created by narrowing the initial space by closing the movable mold by a specific degree in order to prevent the leakage of the supercritical fluid, the subcritical fluid or the high pressure gas from the space and a step to compress the molding by clamping the molds. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
