PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element which attains satisfactory optical performance by attaching an optical element to an attachment member in a manner resistant to an impact from outside, reliably and precisely. SOLUTION: A prism 30 (optical element) includes a prism main body 31 (optical element main body) and a pair of attachment parts 34a, 34b.
