PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein there is no method or device for preventing refrigerating cycle that uses an inflammable coolant from catching fire (igniting) and exploding, when the inflammable coolant gas leaks and for extinguishing fire in the refrigeration cycle using the inflammable coolant gas assuming catching fire. SOLUTION: In the refrigerating cycle using the inflammable coolant gas, an inert gas is injected into a unit or a coolant piping of the refrigerating cycle, and the coolant gas is diluted to a nonflammable range. An emergency discharge opening of the inflammable coolant gas is provided at a part of the coolant piping, and the inert gas is injected into the discharge opening, to mix it with the inflammable coolant gas.
